Hi I'm Jess! I am so glad you came to visit me. I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a homemaker and everything else in between. I have the most amazing husband and have been married for seven years. We have four beautiful children, three of which we are blessed to raise in this life, and one who has earned his wings and is waiting for us in heaven. You can learn a little more about him on my CHD Awareness page.
We recently built our first home in a very small town and love life in the country. Life is much slower and even the attitudes are very different from the city. You can't just run to the neighbors and be back in five minutes. Plan on, at least, an hour or two. It doesn't matter if they're in the middle of making dinner, someone is here to visit so let's sit in the porch swing. It is a wonderful way to live and it helps me to keep the important things in perspective.
I have a bachelors degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership from Brigham Young University, but have been blessed enough to be able to be a stay at home mom. My husband graduated from the University of Utah so I guess the kids bleed purple. (Mostly blue, but don't tell him that!)
I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you as I craft, cook, raise kids (and a husband), and just plain try to balance out those everyday chores.
